Trand Delivers Critical Lift on Short Notice for Texas Gas Plant Project
Trand, Inc., part of Centurion’s US region, recently completed a job that demonstrated their proven ability to deliver quickly under pressure.
During the construction of a new gas plant in Texas, an unexpected access issue threatened to delay a critical lift, with site obstructions leaving the project team searching for a solution. With very little runway, Trand was called to support.
Jobs of this nature normally take two to three months to plan, but Trand mobilized from Kansas and executed in just a few weeks. Using its Liebherr LG 1750 crane, the team lifted a demethanizer tower weighing roughly 405,000 pounds, and also handled additional scope related to the original access issue.
Delivering the job took the cooperation of the full Trand team, with office staff, mechanics and field crews coordinating at pace – an excellent example of team culture, task ownership, and relationship-driven trust leading to a successful project outcome.
When challenges arose, the team pulled together to deliver a solution on short notice and keep a critical project on track.
