Scope of Work A major operator in Canada’s agricultural industry required lifting support for the construction of a grain terminal near Grande Prairie, Alberta. The project demanded reliable, high-capacity crane services to support the build of a more efficient platform and accelerator under a compressed construction timeline. Execution Centurion deployed one of its 270-ton cranes to support the customer’s construction program. The project was completed over four months and involved close coordination with the customer to ensure efficient lifting operations throughout the build. Business Lines: Cranes & Lifting Services Year: 2023 Client: Oil & Gas operator in Western Canada Location: Northern British Columbia, Canada Sector: Oil & Gas – Well Abandonment Scope of Work: An oil and gas customer required crane and lifting support for a complex High Pressure, High Temperature (HPHT) well abandonment project in a remote area of Northern British Columbia. The scope included two large HPHT well abandonments and three smaller well sites, all located in a challenging environment only accessible via an ice bridge. Execution: Centurion’s Cranes & Lifting Services business line supplied a 200-ton crane, a 120-ton crane, and a rigger to support the customer’s 24-hour operations. Despite the logistical difficulties presented by the remote site access, Centurion successfully delivered and supported the project over a 46-day timeline. All equipment and personnel were mobilized to ensure continuous coverage and operational reliability in demanding winter conditions. Outcome & Value Delivered: The project was completed safely, on time, and on budget.
