Centurion Group (“Centurion” or “the Group”), a global leader in the supply of rentals and services to a range of critical industries for complex, challenging, and remote locations, today announces the acquisition of Kabin Hire, a specialist provider of welfare and portable accommodation to the construction, groundworks, water and utilities sectors.
Headquartered in Caerphilly, near Cardiff, Kabin Hire is a family-owned and operated business offering rental of static and mobile welfare units – robust, self-contained site solutions that include offices, canteens, toilets and storage solutions.
The company has 30 employees and supports infrastructure and construction projects across Wales and South West England.
This acquisition supports Centurion’s strategy in the UK & Europe region to build a UK-wide industrial rentals and services business, marking the Group’s operational entry into Wales. It also broadens Centurion’s accommodation offering.
Since 2017, Centurion has been on a diversification journey that has seen it increase its EBITDA by over 250% and its multi-industry earnings grow from ~3% to ~40%.
The existing Kabin Hire management team will remain with the business. Backed by Centurion’s scale and financial firepower, the business will benefit from increased capital and operational support to bolster its long-term growth and expansion plan.
