Centurion Canada Completes Wastewater System Refresh at Remote Alberta Camp
Centurion’s Canada region recently completed a wastewater system refresh at a remote accommodation facility for a long-standing camp provider customer in Canada.
Spring conditions in the remote location in Northern Alberta created a tight window for the work, with the risk of road bans if the project was delayed. To maintain uninterrupted service, Centurion’s Water & Wastewater Solutions and Cranes & Lifting business lines carefully coordinated the removal of the existing system and installation of the replacement.
The team replaced two extended aeration wastewater treatment plants with one refurbished membrane bioreactor (MBR) wastewater treatment plant, complete with remote telemetry, and a 400-barrel tank.
By combining expertise from Water & Wastewater Solutions and Cranes & Lifting business lines, Centurion Canada delivered an integrated solution that included wastewater treatment, a 160-tonne crane, trucking and logistics for two loads in and out, vacuum truck, equipment, crew support, and commissioning services to ensure a seamless system installation.
