Kabin Hire Supports Airport Solar Infrastructure Project with Specialist Haulage Solution

Kabin Hire, part of Centurion’s UK & Europe region, has successfully delivered a specialist haulage solution in support of a major airport infrastructure upgrade linked to a new solar farm development.

The project involved the collection, transportation, and on-site placement of a pre-fabricated enclosure for a UK-based airport’s new main incoming electrical substation. Careful coordination and planning ensured the unit was delivered safely and positioned accurately, meeting both logistical and site requirements.

The substation forms a critical component of the airport’s upcoming solar farm, which will supply electricity via a private wire network. Once operational, the solar farm is expected to deliver a significant reduction in carbon emission for the airport.

Kabin Hire’s role in this scope underscores its ability to support critical infrastructure and renewable energy developments by delivering efficient and reliable modular solutions.
