Specialist Services Supports United Nations Humanitarian Efforts In Key New Contract

A milestone humanitarian aid-related contract with the United Nations has been completed by Specialist Services, a Centurion company, in-line with Centurion’s industry diversification ambitions.

The contract saw Specialist Services design and manufacture four ballistically protected ISO containers, to be used as part of a UN mission in the Central African Republic. Custom built for this contract, the Specialist Services team designed these innovative and purpose-built containers to meet the specific and unique requirements of UN missions. These ISO containers, designed with enhanced security and functionality, are set to play a critical role in protecting aid workers and supporting the secure distribution of essential supplies in regions with elevated risk profiles.

This is a significant contract for Specialist Services, as they continue to develop their offerings to meet the demands of global defense, humanitarian and intergovernmental organizations.
