Scope of Work
A customer in the renewable energy sector required high-quality modular accommodation and operational units within a short timeframe. The goal was to meet offshore standards while also aligning with sustainability objectives to reduce carbon emissions and environmental impact.
Execution
Centurion's UK Accommodation & Modular business line delivered an upcycled solution by refurbishing and selling a range of aged assets, including accommodation units and EX/non-EX modules, from its Aberdeen base.
Working to a tight two-week schedule, the team revitalized and re-certified the modules to offshore standards, delivering a fit-for-purpose, cost-effective, and environmentally conscious solution. The project supported the customer’s operational needs while aligning with their environmental priorities.
Outcome
Upcycled modular units provided an environmentally responsible accommodation solution for a renewable energy project under a compressed timeline.
By extending the lifecycle of existing equipment, Centurion helped the customer avoid the carbon footprint associated with new manufacturing, while still meeting technical and quality expectations. The project was completed on time and within budget, supporting both operational efficiency and sustainability.
This case demonstrates Centurion’s ability to innovate through responsible practices, delivering solutions that reduce waste and emissions without compromising on performance.
