Scope of Work

PTTEP required a fully integrated Living Quarters (LQ) package for the Bongkot Phase 4A offshore platform, part of their operations in the Gulf of Thailand. The environment posed typical offshore challenges including safety-critical specifications, regulated fabrication requirements, and a need for long-term durability in harsh marine conditions. 

Execution

Specialist Services, part of Centurion’s Middle East & North Africa region, was responsible for the engineering, procurement, and management (EPM) of the LQ scope. The team supplied certified components including doors, windows, and wet units, and carried out full integration of piping, instrumentation, electrical wiring, HVAC systems, and fire & gas detection. The work was conducted in collaboration with the main EPC contractor, PT Gunanusa Utama Fabricators (Indonesia), over an 18-month timeline. 

Outcome & Value Delivered

The project was completed successfully, meeting all offshore safety and regulatory standards. The comprehensive scope of supply ensured a high level of integration and reduced risk of delays or mismatches during installation.
