Essential Subsea System Upgrades Delivered for South-East Asia Customer
Scope of Work
A customer in the Asia Pacific region required a comprehensive upgrade of their Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV), Tether Management System (TMS), and topside control system to enhance performance and extend asset life. The scope involved servicing, system upgrades, and integration of new control technology.
Execution
Centurion’s Subsea Services team led the project, executing a complete service and overhaul of the system. All key components were removed, rigorously tested, and recommissioned. The buoyancy was fully repainted, and upgraded containers were delivered by Centurion’s Accommodation & Modular team.
The upgrade featured the integration of Centurion’s latest Gladiator control system, installation of a new control POD, and the replacement of pilot stations. Valve packs were also upgraded with new PCBs to modernize the system’s performance and reliability.
Centurion ensured precise coordination between teams to meet technical requirements, while also planning long-term maintenance support for sustained operational success.
Outcome
The project delivered a fully overhauled and modernized subsea system with upgraded control infrastructure, tailored to support years of reliable offshore performance.
