Successful Completion of RF Shielded Deployable Magazine Project

Scope of Work


A NATO country required a 20′ x 8′ deployable magazine that complied with stringent international defense, safety, and hazardous area standards.


Execution


Specialist Services, part of Centurion’s Middle East & North Africa region, designed and delivered a fully compliant RF shielded deployable magazine built to ISO 668 1CC container dimensions. The unit met multiple standards including CFR 555.208, DOD Manual 4145.26M, ER 2014, and ATEX, and was CSC certified and CE marked. 


The magazine featured 25dB electromagnetic shielding in the 1–12 GHz range, a bullet-resistant external envelope, internal Ex-rated lighting, an external motion sensor light, lightning protection, a high-security door, and an integrated access ramp. It was engineered for transport via RMMV HX or MAN EPLS, ensuring operational readiness in a range of deployment scenarios. 


Outcome


The project was completed successfully, delivering a secure, transportable, and highly resilient storage solution to the client’s specifications.


The deployable magazine enhances the client’s operational capability by protecting sensitive materials from ballistic threats and electromagnetic interference. This project showcases Specialist Services’ ability to meet specialized defense requirements through innovation, compliance, and engineering.
