Scope of Work
The U.S. Army’s 405th Army Field Support Brigade – Tele-Maintenance and Distribution Cell-Ukraine (TDC-U) required rapidly deployable, technology-enabled shelters to support their mission in Ukraine. The urgent operational environment demanded fast delivery and robust design, with flexibility for transport and secure communications.
Execution
Specialist Services, part of Centurion’s Middle East & North Africa region, engineered and delivered seven ISO-based 3-1 expandable shelters within a tight seven-week timeline. Each shelter expands from a 20’ x 8’ ISO 668 1CC container to provide 475 square feet of internal space, and was equipped with small power, data, and encrypted communication systems to enable remote sustainment operations.
The shelters featured 24,000 BTU heating/cooling, levelling jacks, and 400V/50Hz electrical capability. Their air-transportable design and 15-minute setup time made them ideally suited for rapid deployment to support tactical missions.
Outcome
The project was successfully completed within the timeframe, enabling the U.S. Army to enhance operational readiness and frontline support in Ukraine.
This delivery underscores Specialist Services’ ability to meet urgent defence-sector requirements with agile, mission-ready shelter solutions that combine speed, reliability, and technical precision under high-stakes conditions.
